1. What is your favorite project you have worked on at Gallun Snow?
Carla Madison Rec Center has been my favorite project to work on at Gallun Snow so far. I was able to help with the conceptual and design development for the building alongside BRS Architects. The project was a great learning experience and I appreciated being able to watch the project come alive during CA. I was able to help design the signage package and see the details come into play within the overall design of the space. As a collegiate swimmer, I thoroughly enjoyed utilizing my passion for swimming and wellness and applying it to one of our design projects. I even swam in the photoshoot for the marketing materials!
2. What is your favorite task to do in your job?
My favorite task is upholding long-standing relationships with clients. I enjoy working with repeat clients year after year maintaining complex design concepts throughout their facilities. I have worked with Natividad in California for 7 years and love being part of their team. The Gallun Snow team I manage helps to complete project work and problem-solve at their facility located in California. Designing with the surrounding California scenery, pulling beautiful local artwork, and using colors found in nature is a perk to being on this team.
3. What strength do you bring to your project teams?
I bring a positive energy to every team I am on. I love to collaborate with all the designers and clients I work with. I like to create a fun atmosphere where everyone is comfortable to speak their minds about design. I work well with others when problem solving and enjoy figuring out a solution that will best meet the needs of the client. Malcolm Forbes said it best, "The key to success is not through achievement but through enthusiasm."
