  • Location: Fort Collins, CO
  • Description: This project grows the PVH NICU from 19 open patient bays to 32 beds in private or twin patient rooms for premature or critically-ill babies. Using a contemporary aesthetic, our design team worked with the clinical staff to create an environment that fosters multiple aspects of healing for these fragile patients; including reduced noise pollution, color changing lighting to encourage healthy circadian rhythms, and space for family participation in the treatment process. Each room includes a convertible sleep sofa that offers seating with a table during the day and a bed overnight.
  • Architect: Stanley Beaman & Sears

Awards: Small Project (Under $10 Million) Award of Merit, ENR Mountain States 2017
